How to Administer Narcan
Step 1
Remove Narcan from box.
Step 2
Hold with your thumb, first, and middle finger.
Step 3
Insert tip into either nostril.
Step 4
Press the plunger firmly.
If you suspect an overdose is occurring, call 911. Administer naloxone (Narcan). Perform rescue breathing if needed.
