Donate your time!
We’re looking for passionate individuals to donate their time as volunteers in a variety of capacities – events staff, administrative work, communications and marketing assistance, and other areas. Any help is good help!
- Events Staff – We need people to help with planning, organization, and execution: from joining the Fundraising Committee to helping register people at events, or handing out materials at our Pub Crawl & Scavenger Hunt.
- Administrative Work – We are looking for assistance in building our contact network and need help to develop our list of schools, community groups, local governments, like-minded non-profits, and businesses that could benefit from our educational materials and presentations, or who would be interested in working together to help educate our community about the dangers of fentanyl.
- Communications – We’re looking for someone with PR experience to help us develop a long-term program that will get EMHF much more widely known to media, businesses, and state and local governments, by promoting our events, highlighting our educational efforts, and spreading the word about the dangers of fentanyl and fentanyl poisoning.
- Marketing – Do you have email campaign experience? If so, volunteer today to help us design, build, execute, and evaluate our email marketing. This will be our primary channel of communication, so help is really needed,
- Technology – EMHF has a current need for help developing a way to identify drug-related incidents in our Southeastern PA area. We’d like to be able to pull real-time data from online resources and participating organizations that would be compiled and presented in a graphical way to show how prevalent drugs are in our communities. We’d use this information to demonstrate that fentanyl and other lethal drugs are in almost every neighborhood, regardless of socioeconomics. We hope this will help bring the breadth and depth of the issue into stark relief. Through awareness, we believe we can save people from these poisons.
